How Does it Work?
PU strips are integral to vibrating screens, providing crucial support and stability to wire mesh or screen panels. This ensures the integrity of the screen structure under high-vibration conditions. Simultaneously, PU strips enhance operational efficiency by securely holding wires or panels in place, optimizing their positioning for effective material separation and sorting.
INTRODUCING THE FUTURE: ADVANCED PU VARIANT
Over time, advancements in the wear life of steel wires have pushed the limits to a point where, under certain conditions, steel wires may now outlast the Polyurethane (PU) strips that bind them together. In our ongoing pursuit to continually enhance the wear life of FLEXMAT products, we are exploring the development of a new PU compound. This compound is intended to significantly extend the overall screen wear life, especially in applications where conditions pose challenges to standard PU strip durability.
In the near future, our goal is to introduce a highly anticipated alternative PU compound. This new compound is designed to be more chemically stable, offering superior performance in corrosive, alkaline, and/or wet conditions— environments that typically pose challenges to the standard wear life of PU strips.
