MAJOR Will Showcase OPTIMUMWIRE® and FLEX-MAT® Screen Media at steinexpo 2026

MAJOR, a leading global manufacturer of high-performance wire screen media, will showcase its OPTIMUMWIRE® and FLEX-MAT® screen media in Stand B7 at steinexpo 2026 in Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden, Germany, from September 2-5.
“There’s no better place to demonstrate our screen media solutions than in a real basalt quarry,” said Mike Offermans, MAJOR’s director of sales and market development in Europe. “As demand continues to grow across Europe, we’re committed to helping producers improve efficiency and profitability by demonstrating how our screening technologies reduce blinding and pegging while increasing throughput.”
OPTIMUMWIRE— the industry’s longest-lasting wire — will be the highlight of the show. All OPTIMUMWIREis made using a patented process, heightening the wire’s molecular structure to improve hardness and tensile strength while increasing resistance to breakage. For harsh screening environments, the manufacturer also offers OPTIMUMWIRE PLUS — available exclusively in modular screen media — which is ideal for more abrasive materials like granite and basalt.
MAJOR’s FLEX-MAT tensioned screen media and FLEX-MAT modular screen media feature the company’s unique lime-green polyurethane strips bonded to high-performance screen wire. FLEX-MAT tensioned panels are available with OPTIMUMWIRE or stainless-steel wire, while FLEX-MAT Modular can be configured with OPTIMUMWIRE, OPTIMUMWIRE PLUS or stainless-steel wire. Using high-vibration technology, FLEX-MAT helps reduce blinding and pegging while improving throughput and efficiency. The company’s signature screen media can be customized with different wire types, panel styles and attachment systems to meet specific application requirements.
“Every quarry has unique production goals and material characteristics, which is why there’s no one-size-fits-all screening solution,” said Matej Grm, MAJOR’s European territory manager. “When producers come to us with their requests, we work with them to evaluate their challenges and identify the proper screen media to best suit their operation.”
MAJOR, a HAVER & BOECKER company, will exhibit alongside Haver & Boecker Niagara in Stand B7. Attendees can learn how integrated screening technologies and screen media solutions help producers improve performance across a wide range of aggregate and mining applications.
