MAJOR Offers Live Educational Seminars at MINExpo 2021

CANDIAC, Québec (Sept. 7, 2021) — MAJOR, a leading global manufacturer of high-performance wire screening media, is offering live educational seminars on how to get the most out of your screen performance at MINExpo 2021 in Las Vegas. The sessions will be held on Tuesday, September 14th in meeting room S114 in the South Hall. For those looking for a more in-depth conversation, one-on-one consultations will be available as well. To register for a seminar or a one-on-one meeting, visit

MAJOR will also be exhibiting at the show at booth 7501 in Central Hall, where the company will showcase its revolutionary FLEX-MAT screen media.

Each educational seminar will offer tactical tips to equip producers with information and recommendations to amplify their screening efficiency. The sessions will be led by MAJOR’s director of product technology, Lars Bräunling.

“At MAJOR, we know every operation is unique,” said Bräunling. “We strive to meet each operation’s individual needs because we know how critical it is to thoroughly evaluate your application’s requirements to ensure proper screening and overall success.”

The first seminar will be held at 11:00 a.m. PT and cover how to boost screen media performance and help attendees understand the basic — but essential — mechanics of screening efficiency. This seminar will discuss how to manipulate the factors that impact efficiency to maximize the performance of an operation’s screening process; from stratification and an open area to the influence of machine settings and maintenance, and the economic impact of efficient screening through the use of vibrating wire screen media.

The second seminar will be held at 1:00 p.m. PT and cover tips on-screen maintenance. Attendees will have the opportunity to see real-world examples that illustrate the damaging effect of poor maintenance and how these issues can be fixed in the field. The session will also outline the impact screen media has on performance and offer practical tips on feeding material, installing and tensioning screen media, and how installation affects blinding and pegging.

Each session will close with a Q&A with technical experts to give attendees the opportunity to ask questions and get clarification on any of the topics discussed. To register, please visit
